I am a native of California but have traveled extensively. My interest in art dates back to my childhood. I was self-taught until college, graduated from The University of California at Davis, and also studied at the Corcoran School of Fine Art in Virginia.
I have been married to a military officer for twenty two years and I continue my studies today through workshops and seminars as we move across the country. I recently traveled to Europe and many of my current works reflect time spent painting there. I have been a full time professional artist for over ten years.
My works are purchased by select clients for private collections across the United States. In addition, I am a member of the Arlington Artists Alliance and The Montgomery Art Guild.
Karen's works are highly collectible and hang in galleries and homes throughout the United States and Europe. A listed artist in the World Artist Directory, her work is currently on display at Gallerie Severn in Metairie, Louisiana; The Arlington Arts Gallery in Arlington, Virginia; KR Designs in Fort Meyers, Florida; and The Stonehenge Gallery and SAC's Gallery in Montgomery, Alabama. In addition, her works were recently featured in Art Business News, Southern Lady, and Art Galleries & Artists of the South.
